Pittsfield
bicentennial -
The bicentennial of Pittsfield will be celebrated this year, and the Pittsfield
Railroad Station (built in 1888 by Maine Central Railroad) is being restored
with financial support from Cianbro. The station is now a museum, and the town
library is across the tracks from it. The town is hosting various events in
June 2019. Below are two photographs of
the train station at different times (from the Pittsfield Historical Society). The Depot, Railway Express
