Saturday October 30th Wayne Allen finished some repairs to
copper air lines under 4268 as well as connected the two airbox drain lines
into the ecology tanks that were added to 4268 to catch any oil that may vacate
the locomotives air box rather than allow it to fall to the ground. Ryan
Fothergill and Jim Hamlin sanded the fuel tank and trucks and began applying
paint to them. Cory Fothergill installed the flexible air lines to
connect the entire air brake system. The unit is now ready for an Airbrake test.
